Terms of Service
These are the terms for Worbik, the daily word puzzle at worbik.com.
Last updated: 7 November 2026
The short version
Play it, share it, don't cheat or break it, and understand that it's a free game made by one person, with no guarantees. By using Worbik you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What it is
Worbik is a free daily word puzzle. Each day brings a new puzzle for every size of board, and you solve one by rotating its rows and columns until every row is a word. You can play without an account. If you sign in, you can post your scores to public leaderboards and keep a streak.
Worbik is made and run by Drake Costa, an individual. There is no company behind it. Its source code is public.
Using it
You need to be at least 13 to sign in and post scores, and old enough to hold the account you sign in with. Playing without signing in has no such requirement.
Use it, enjoy it, and please don't:
- post a score that you didn't earn by playing, including by using software to solve puzzles or to work out their answers
- try to get at a puzzle's answer any way other than solving it
- attack, overload, or try to break the service, or get around its limits
- use a handle, or anything else that Worbik displays, to harass or impersonate anyone
- use it to break the law
If it looks like these terms are being broken, I can remove scores, hide a player from the leaderboards, or block access, with or without warning.
Your account
Worbik has no accounts of its own. You sign in with an account that you hold with another service, such as Bluesky, and that service's own terms apply to it. Worbik never sees your password, and can't help you recover an account or change anything in it.
Scores
A score that you post is public. It appears on leaderboards along with your handle, and anyone can see it, link to it, or share it.
Your first solve of a puzzle is the one that counts. Scores are only accepted during a puzzle's own day, with a short grace period, and each one is checked against the game that earned it.
You can delete your Worbik data in Settings, which permanently removes your scores. Leaderboards are a bit of fun, and they are not a record of anything. Scores can be corrected, removed, or lost, and a leaderboard can be reset.
What you can expect
No guarantees of any kind. Worbik may change, go down, lose data, or shut down at any time and without notice. That comes with a free game run by one person, and it isn't an oversight.
The words may surprise you. Puzzles are made from a general word list, by a program, without anyone checking them first. A word might be obscure, or one that you'd rather not see. If one is a problem, let me know.
The legal way of saying this: Worbik is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent that the law allows, Drake Costa is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or scores, arising from your use of Worbik or from being unable to use it.
Nothing here takes away any rights that the law gives you and doesn't allow to be waived.
Cost
Worbik is free to play. If paid features are ever added, these terms will be updated first, and you won't be charged for anything that you didn't choose to buy.
Your privacy
What Worbik stores, why, and how to remove it is covered by the Privacy Policy.
Changes
These terms may change. When they do, the date at the top will change with them, and every earlier version is kept in the project's history. Carrying on using Worbik after a change means that you accept it.
